Do you know if I can set a keyboard shortcut to switch between kana? I saw somewhere it is set to F7 but that doesn't work for me.
Also, the IME only seems to work in some places. It would be nice to have a way to switch languages everywhere.

Apparently, this is quite a good guide on how to do it:

Then when it's setup, you can use Win+Space to switch between Japanese and english.

Ok. I did know how to switch between Japanese and English. Switching between hiragana and katakana is what I wonder about (aside from by clicking with the mouse).

I found out that, Ctrl+Caps Lock is Hiragana and Alt+Caps Lock is Katakana. I wish they would have put that in help somewhere.
